On Saturday 26th June a choice of walks (6 miles or 11 miles) along the South Downs Way in West Sussex will raise funds for WaterAid. Walkers will gather at Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre from where they will be taken by coach to their chosen starting point - Washington or Steyning - to walk back to the Museum.
Amberley Museum is on the B2139 midway between Arundel and Storrington. There is also an hourly train service to Amberley station, adjacent to the museum, from London Victoria and the South Coast. On their return to Amberley walkers can take advantage of reduced admission to the museum where refreshments are available.
The walk is organised by Guildford WaterAid Local Support Group and has been approved by the South Downs Way Office. Anyone interested in taking part should contact me for more information, sponsorship forms and so on.
